This is a really long one, okay? So if you don't want to read it, by all means, skip this post. I am feeling grateful and chatty. Lol
Some of you have seen my posts about books by Audrey Carlan. I don't do this for any reason but to share the love. First off, Audrey is a wonderfully fabulous person. She is a loving wife and mother. She is a fantastic friend. (By the way, those words aren't good enough to properly or sufficiently describe her.) She is a badass autho...r. I enjoyed reading 50 Shades, and that's what led me to her work. It was an ad for people who have enjoyed those books. Articles have said that Audrey's Calendar Girl is the next 50 Shades. It's not. It is a million times better. February, the second installment in the series, helped me a lot emotionally. It helped me to remember a valuable lesson and reminded me of why I need to keep fighting my disease. The rest of the series is wildly entertaining and moving. Audrey also wrote the Trinity Trilogy (Body, Mind, and Soul), the Falling series (Angel Falling, London Falling, and Justice Falling), and now the Lotus House Series (Resisting Roots, Sacred Serenity-releasing 8/30, and Divine Desire-releasing at the end of the year). Audrey and her work, along with my best friends, my pals, and family, have helped me cope with everything that I am fighting. I am sincerely and truly blessed. I can't sufficiently express how Audrey has impacted my life. She even led me to my Angel sister and many new friends. I owe her. She has no idea that I am posting this. I haven't tagged her and don't know if she'll see it. I just want people to know how much of a beautiful soul she is. I was blessed to be able to meet her and hang out with her and her best friend. Let me tell you, it's intimidating being faced with so much beauty. But what showed through even past their beautiful physical selves were their hearts.
I have such love, gratitude, and joy because I was able to add them to the group of people that have blessed me, including all of you.
So if you enjoy reading, check her out. You won't regret it. She puts her soul into her work and she deserves all the love and joy she gets. BTW, I am addicted to her books. Can't you tell? I have told her that she's my book-crack dealer. LOL
