Scary Hot: An Until Series and Club Alias Series Crossover by KD Robichaux takes my love of hot alpha bikers to a whole new level!

Synopsis:

Alpha former-military biker.

Quirky office manager of a vet clinic.

When their best friends meet and have a whirlwind romance, they get swept up in it and have a hot tryst of their own.

It leads to a surprise pregnancy—and a soul-deep connection—neither see coming.

Tracey’s Review:

Kayla, Scary Hot takes my love of hot alpha bikers to a whole new level. This book is fantastic, and I was burned in all the right ways. Z and Kayan are everything I needed and more! He is so hot, and I love her feisty nature and how she can hold her own. I am not a huge cat fan because I’m allergic, but I would be Z’s kitten any day. I’m pretty sure he makes me break out in love!  This story is a must read and I couldn’t get enough of this couple.

The One (The Halo Series Book 2) by Kimberly Knight is a story about friendship, trials, loss, strength, and love.

Synopsis:

Life isn’t always fairy tales and rainbows …

Avery Scott is a hopeless romantic, the complete opposite of his best friend, Easton. For most of his life, he’s been searching for that someone special to spend the rest of his life with. The problem is, he’s had nothing but bad first dates with crazy women he’s met online or at his bar, Halo. When he hears about a singles cruise, his plan is to meet a lot of single women, to test the waters, but when a blonde consumes his every thought, he throws that plan overboard.

Nicole Chambers has had her fair share of heartbreaks. She’s tired of being single or dating guys with girlfriends. She wants to find The One. So she convinces her best friend, Brooke, to go on a singles cruise with her. What she doesn’t expect is to fall head over heels with the first guy she meets.

But what happens once the cruise ends?

Life isn’t always fairy tales and rainbows …

And meeting The One doesn’t always mean finding your happily ever after. Because life can give you a precious gift and then dangle it in front of your eyes and you’re left questioning where to go with your future—or if you even have one.

Ceej’s Review:

The One is a story about friendship, trials, loss, strength, and love.  This is a story about finding The One and holding tight, no matter what happens.

Nicole…at first, I wasn’t sure if I would like her.  Until I saw how she was with her best friend, Brooke.  She scored big points with me for everything she did for her.  When it came to her relationship with Avery, I admit it felt more like I was being told about her feelings for him rather than feeling it.  Maybe it was due to the fact that she was bombarded by difficult and surprising circumstances.  However, I did sympathize with her when she had joy dangled in front of her then had it snatched away.  I wanted to give her the biggest of hugs.

Avery…now that’s a man that loved his woman.  I felt it.  Honestly, his POV saved this book for me.  Everything he felt, I felt.  His elation, his desperation, his determination, his devastation, his pain, his joy, I felt it all.  I loved Avery.  This is the kind of devotion that I believe everyone deserves in their lives.

Until Valerie: Happily Ever Alpha World by Jessica Marin is filled with heat, suspense and such an intense love and devotion that I couldn’t put it down!

Synopsis:

Opposites don't just attract... sometimes they BOOM!

Valerie Dawson

All I've ever wanted is to make my father proud. All he ever wanted was sons. I've never felt like I was enough… then everything changes when I'm assigned to audit the Broken Eagle's Motorcycle Shop and I meet Rowan Pryor for the first time. The minute his eyes lock on mine, I know this gorgeous man is trouble. He's looking at me as if I'm his everything, his eyes telling me he's thinking of a thousand ways to get me dirty. And I like it.

But I have plans for myself and none of them include some hot, motorcycle guy in a small town.

Rowan Pryor

I traded a broken past for a brotherhood I could count on. War changes people, bonds them together, so when our time in the Navy is served, I join my fellow SEALS in Nashville to help start up a motorcycle repair shop. A big city guy like me is enjoying a distraction free, small town life. But then Valerie Dawson walks into the shop, wearing those nerdy glasses like it's her mission to steal my breath away and I know I’m in dangerous territory. She makes me feel things I never thought I could feel and I am determined to make her mine.

I didn't believe in love at first sight... Until Valerie.

Tracey’s Review:

Jessica is one of my newer favorite authors and if you read this book, you will totally understand why. This story is filled with heat, suspense and such an intense love and devotion that I couldn’t put it down. Rowan and Valerie have nestled their way into my heart and have amazing chemistry.

They complete each other in such a sweet and sexy way. You can feel the electricity sizzle through the pages anytime Ro and Val are near each other. Everyone should be lucky enough to find a love like that. Then their chance at forever is threatened and one shot could change everything. Jessica Marin is paving her way as one of the standout authors in her genre who leave a lasting impression long after the story ends.

Never Stop (The Halo Series Book 3) by Kimberly Knight is a story of the power of love, strength, faith in others, loyalty, and finding the good wherever you can.

Synopsis:

From USA Today bestselling author Kimberly Knight, comes book three in her heartfelt and sexy Halo series.

Inspired by a True Story.

The girl on the cruise ship stole his heart …

The guy on the cruise ship took her breath away …

After being diagnosed with a rare tumor, Brooke has survived surgery and radiation and is now excited to share her future with Easton. Planning her fairy tale wedding and dreaming of a home filled with beautiful children is a dream come true.

But not everything goes as planned.

Will Easton lose another wife or will his Superwoman be the fighter he knows she is?

Ceej’s Review:

Never Stop is the continuation from Tattooed Dots, and it had me in tears.  It’s a story of the power of love, strength, faith in others, loyalty, and finding the good wherever you can.  This book hit me a lot harder than I expected, and it shows the power of the author that she could pull the emotions out of me with her words.

The strength in both Brooke and Easton was inspiring.  Serious illnesses have the power to break people, sometimes even seemingly strong relationships.  The dedication and determination that Easton showed Brooke really made me love him.  I believe many of us with chronic illnesses who are single wish for partners like him.  And I don’t think it’s a fairy tale or that men like him are just in romance novels.  I’ve met people like him.  Now, if Ms. Knight could send me an Easton clone, I’d be a happy woman.  As for Brooke, she inspired me.  She inspired me to keep fighting, to keep powering through, to keep believing that it’ll get better.  She inspired me to be a Superwoman.

Never Stop had me in tears because I felt Brooke’s and Easton’s pain.  I felt their desperation; I felt their sorrow.  But I also felt their joy and happiness.  I really loved this book.  Thank you, Ms. Knight for this.

Tattooed Dots (The Halo Series Book 1) by Kimberly Knight is a story about change, personal growth, love, humor, and strength.

Synopsis:

From USA Today bestselling author Kimberly Knight, comes book one in her heartfelt and sexy Halo series.

Inspired by a True Story.

People are brought into our lives for many reasons. Over time, we find out who is meant to be a temporary acquaintance and who will be there for a lifetime.

Easton Crawford put his modeling career before his marriage until it was ending in divorce. Years later, he is finally learning how to be the father his daughter needs him to be. He’s not looking for someone to step into the mother role—just nightly casual hook-ups.

When his best friend convinces him that a good way to meet single women is to go on a singles cruise, he finds more than just a one-night stand.

At age thirteen, Brooke Bradley became an adult, raising her younger sister while her mother continually ignored her parenting responsibilities. Since then, Brooke has continued to take care of the people in her life, including her deadbeat boyfriend, Jared.

For Brooke’s thirtieth birthday, her best friend surprises her with a cruise but fails to mention it’s a singles cruise. When Brooke meets Easton, the one man willing to be her constant, will she finally find the courage to leave Jared?

Easton knows that Brooke is someone who is meant to be in his life forever, but when a health scare threatens to change everything, Brooke and Easton are faced with unanswered questions and unspoken fears. Are Brooke and Easton only meant to be temporary acquaintances or are they brought into each other lives for a lifetime?

Ceej’s Review:

Tattooed Dots is a story about change, personal growth, love, humor, and strength.  It’s a story that makes you seriously think about your life even as it makes you laugh and cringe at the antics each character does.

Brooke makes me think about myself in a way.  No, I didn’t have an absentee mother or a missing father.  But I did grow up fast and have a big hand in raising my siblings.  Brooke is a woman of considerable strength and love and it was being wasted on that loser Jared.  She needed to drop him quick.  When she met Easton, I had high hopes that he’d be the one to earn her love because she deserved someone like that.  Her health scare put that ache in my heart.  I could sympathize, not in the same way, but I know what it’s like.  I was rooting for her all the way.

Easton…I didn’t like him in the beginning.  I really didn’t.  I was hoping Ms. Knight would redeem him by the end of the book.  I was hoping hard.  He was a douche.  However, by the middle of the book, he was proving to be the man that I needed Brooke to have!

I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll end this review by saying that I really enjoyed this book and Ms. Knight gave me two characters that I could hold close.
