Patient Files Introduction

I’m Ceej and I’m not new to medical issues.  In fact, I live with an immune deficiency syndrome, am a cancer survivor, have mobility issues, am being treated for fibromyalgia, and have a host of other concerns.  This part of my blog is not going to be a “woe is me” or “please pity me” section.  This is to share my experiences and thoughts as a patient who sees multiple specialists and has undergone a number of surgeries and procedures.  My hope is to be able to help at least one person feel like they’re not alone when they fight medical issues of their own.

I must emphasize that I will not provide medical advice as I am not a medical professional.  This is purely to share my thoughts and experiences with the goal to provide the patient perspective.

Emotionally, I have hit rock bottom several times.  I’ve attempted to commit suicide.  I want to help prevent others from going through it.  If I can lift someone’s spirit with my sense of humor, then I’m happy.  If I can help someone fight their illnesses or conditions with my words, then I’m ecstatic.

If you’re reading this section of my blog and have questions or need some help, I’d be happy to try my best.  You can email me at ceej@ceejlifereads.com.
